| Watkinsville celebrates July 4th |

Oconee Countians dressed in red, white and blue carried miniature flags, munched on cotton candy and watermelon, tapped their feet to music from local bands and listened to storytelling under cover from the sun’s rays. Leashed dogs walked by panting, and kids with painted faces ran across the lawn.
