Business Spotlight: Athens Laser Skin Solutions

Athens Laser Skin Solutions, the laser division of Athens Associates Family Practice, began a year ago and offers on-site, physician-supervised laser skin procedures.

Julie and Rhett Puder bought Athens Associates Family Practice in January of 2006. Julie had worked there previously as a physician’s assistant.

Julie says the procedures are good for anyone – men and women from teens to seniors – who has skin issues or is wanting to improve their skin’s appearance. Among the skin issues they can help with are: unwanted and excess hair, undesirable facial vascular, acne, rosacea, unwanted pigmented lesions and age spot removal.

They offer the Titan Skin Tightening Procedure, a non-surgical process that uses infrared light to tighten the skin and reverse the signs of aging. This procedure treats sagging and redundant skin throughout the body including the face, neck, abdomen, thighs, and underarms.

They also offer permanent hair reduction for both men and women, vein therapy, laser skin rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and Athens Laser Skin Solutions sells skin care products that work with their laser treatments.

Julie and Rhett have two sons, Harison and Mac. Julie is currently running the business as Rhett serves in Iraq as an Air Force psychologist.
