Clay said he knew after eating at Your Pie a few times that he wanted to open his own franchise.
“After trying the product a couple times I just thought it was a great way to do pizza,” Clay said. “It is a great concept and a simple concept.”
The Your Pie experience is what the name of the restaurant implies. Clay said it is down the line, build your own brick oven pizza. Customers are able to choose their own dough, sauce, and toppings for a personalized pizza that takes four and a half minutes to bake in a brick oven.
“It truly is your pie,” Debi said. “You don’t have to eat pepperoni with your kids anymore, you can add whatever you want to your pizza.”
At Your Pie, all of the ingredients are fresh. Clay said they make all the sauces in-house, and they cut all of the vegetables fresh every morning. His wife, Debi, said the crust is true Italian thin crust.
They both said they believe the brick oven is what makes the pizza so good.
“The big difference is the oven. We use a fire brick oven and it cooks the pizza from all around,” said Debi.
Another thing that both Clay and Debi like about the Your Pie experience is that it is very family friendly. Debi said it is a place to bring your family and not have to worry about anything.
They said they tried to create a fun atmosphere, where people can come and hang out. Clay and Debi added a seated patio to their Your Pie location, which also has corn hole for the kids to play.
Clay and Debi said they are appreciative of the supportive
